Don’t Miss the Opportunity to Find "Treasures" If Owning a Metal Detector

I made a friend with a detectorist when working. He showed me his finds and told me all about his adventures, which got me interested in metal detecting. My wife just bought me a metal detector and a pinpointer for birthday this year. I have never used a metal detector, so I don’t expect to detect anything.

We live in a small development and our house built in 1990 is the oldest one on the block. It is unlikely to find something here. But, I still started my hunting for “treasures”. I first discovered several bottle caps and five 1990 pennies. Then, I moved to the front yard close to the house, and dug up a 1738 George II half penny in pretty decent shape! Approximately twenty feet from there, I unearthed a brass barrel of a bolt gun. I can’t believe that I actually have such finds around the house which has not been there long.
